“सेआदि में वचन था, और वचन परमेश्वर के साथ था, और वचन परमेश्वर था।”
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
1. पृथ्वी और जो कुछ उस में है यहोवा ही का है; जगत और उस में निवास करने वाले भी।
2. क्योंकि उसी ने उसकी नींव समुद्रों के ऊपर दृढ़ करके रखी, और महानदों के ऊपर स्थिर किया है॥
3. यहोवा के पर्वत पर कौन चढ़ सकता है? और उसके पवित्र स्थान में कौन खड़ा हो सकता है?
4. जिसके काम निर्दोष और हृदय शुद्ध है, जिसने अपने मन को व्यर्थ बात की ओर नहीं लगाया, और न कपट से शपथ खाई है।
5. वह यहोवा की ओर से आशीष पाएगा, और अपने उद्धार करने वाले परमेश्वर की ओर से धर्मी ठहरेगा।
7. हे फाटकों, अपने सिर ऊंचे करो। हे सनातन के द्वारों, ऊंचे हो जाओ। क्योंकि प्रतापी राजा प्रवेश करेगा।
8. वह प्रतापी राजा कौन है? परमेश्वर जो सामर्थी और पराक्रमी है, परमेश्वर जो युद्ध में पराक्रमी है!
9. हे फाटकों, अपने सिर ऊंचे करो हे सनातन के द्वारों तुम भी खुल जाओ! क्योंकि प्रतापी राजा प्रवेश करेगा!
10. वह प्रतापी राजा कौन है? सेनाओं का यहोवा, वही प्रतापी राजा है॥
1. The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
7. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.
पाठ उपदेश
10 देखो, प्रभु यहोवा सामर्थ दिखाता हुआ रहा है, वह अपने भुजबल से प्रभुता करेगा;
10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him:
1 उन्होंने कहा, मैं यहोवा का गीत गाऊंगा, क्योंकि वह महाप्रतापी ठहरा है; घोड़ों समेत सवारों को उसने समुद्र में डाल दिया है॥
4 फिरौन के रथों और सेना को उसने समुद्र में डाल दिया; और उसके उत्तम से उत्तम रथी लाल समुद्र में डूब गए॥
7 और तू अपने विरोधियों को अपने महाप्रताप से गिरा देता है; तू अपना कोप भड़काता, और वे भूसे की नाईं भस्म हो जाते हैं॥
8 और तेरे नयनोंकी सांस से जल एकत्र हो गया, धाराएं ढेर की नाईं थम गईं; समुद्र के मध्य में गहिरा जल जम गया॥
9 शत्रु ने कहा था, मैं पीछा करूंगा, मैं जा पकडूंगा, मैं लूट के माल को बांट लूंगा, उन से मेरा जी भर जाएगा। मैं अपनी तलवार खींचते ही अपने हाथ से उन को नाश कर डालूंगा॥
10 तू ने अपने श्वास का पवन चलाया, तब समुद्र ने उन को ढांप लिया; वे महाजलराशि में सीसे की नाईं डूब गए॥
13 अपनी करूणा से तू ने अपनी छुड़ाई हुई प्रजा की अगुवाई की है, अपने बल से तू उसे अपने पवित्र निवासस्थान को ले चला है॥
22 तब मूसा इस्राएलियों को लाल समुद्र से आगे ले गया,
1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously:
4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea:
7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee:
8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap,
9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them:
13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
1 फिर इस्राएलियों की सारी मण्डली सीन नाम जंगल से निकल चली, और यहोवा के आज्ञानुसार कूच करके रपीदीम में अपने डेरे खड़े किए; और वहां उन लोगों को पीने का पानी न मिला।
2 इसलिये वे मूसा से वादविवाद करके कहने लगे, कि हमें पीने का पानी दे। मूसा ने उन से कहा, तुम मुझ से क्यों वादविवाद करते हो? और यहोवा की परीक्षा क्यों करते हो?
3 फिर वहां लोगों को पानी की प्यास लगी तब वे यह कहकर मूसा पर बुड़बुड़ाने लगे, कि तू हमें लड़के बालोंऔर पशुओं समेत प्यासों मार डालने के लिये मिस्र से क्यों ले आया है?
4 तब मूसा ने यहोवा की दोहाई दी, और कहा, इन लोगों से मैं क्या करूं? ये सब मुझे पत्थरवाह करने को तैयार हैं।
5 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, इस्राएल के वृद्ध लोगों में से कुछ को अपने साथ ले ले; और जिस लाठी से तू ने नील नदी पर मारा था, उसे अपने हाथ में ले कर लोगों के आगे बढ़ चल।
6 देख मैं तेरे आगे चलकर होरेब पहाड़ की एक चट्टान पर खड़ा रहूंगा; और तू उस चट्टान पर मारना, तब उस में से पानी निकलेगा जिससे ये लोग पीएं। तब मूसा ने इस्राएल के वृद्ध लोगों के देखते वैसा ही किया।
7 और मूसा ने उस स्थान का नाम मस्सा और मरीबा रखा, क्योंकि इस्राएलियों ने वहां वादविवाद किया था, और यहोवा की परीक्षा यह कहकर की, कि क्या यहोवा हमारे बीच है वा नहीं?
1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the Lord, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the Lord?
3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
4 And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
5 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not?

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee:
24 और सारे सूरिया में उसका यश फैल गया; और लोग सब बीमारों को, जो नाना प्रकार की बीमारियों और दुखों में जकड़े हुए थे, और जिन में दुष्टात्माएं थीं और मिर्गी वालों और झोले के मारे हुओं को उसके पास लाए और उस ने उन्हें चंगा किया।
24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

15 हे प्रभु, मेरे पुत्र पर दया कर; क्योंकि उस को मिर्गी आती है: और वह बहुत दुख उठाता है; और बार बार आग में और बार बार पानी में गिर पड़ता है।
16 और मैं उस को तेरे चेलों के पास लाया था, पर वे उसे अच्छा नहीं कर सके।
17 यीशु ने उत्तर दिया, कि हे अविश्वासी और हठीले लोगों मैं कब तक तुम्हारे साथ रहूंगा? कब तक तुम्हारी सहूंगा? उसे यहां मेरे पास लाओ।
18 तब यीशु ने उसे घुड़का, और दुष्टात्मा उस में से निकला; और लड़का उसी घड़ी अच्छा हो गया।
19 तब चेलों ने एकान्त में यीशु के पास आकर कहा; हम इसे क्यों नहीं निकाल सके?
20 उस ने उन से कहा, अपने विश्वास की घटी के कारण: क्योंकि मैं तुम से सच कहता हूं, यदि तुम्हारा विश्वास राई के दाने के बराबर भी हो, तो इस पहाड़ से कह स को गे, कि यहां से सरककर वहां चला जा, तो वह चला जाएगा; और कोई बात तुम्हारे लिये अन्होनी न होगी।
1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
12 मैं तुम से सच सच कहता हूं, कि जो मुझ पर विश्वास रखता है, ये काम जो मैं करता हूं वह भी करेगा, वरन इन से भी बड़े काम करेगा, क्योंकि मैं पिता के पास जाता हूं।
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
10 ... परन्तु पिता मुझ में रहकर अपने काम करता है।
10 …the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

The creative Principle — Life, Truth, and Love — is God. The universe reflects God. There is but one creator and one creation. This creation consists of the unfolding of spiritual ideas and their identities, which are embraced in the infinite Mind and forever reflected. These ideas range from the infinitesimal to infinity, and the highest ideas are the sons and daughters of God.
मूसा ने यहोवा की दस आज्ञाओं में से पहली आज्ञा यह घोषित की: " तू मुझे छोड़ दूसरों को ईश्वर करके न मानना!"
Moses declared as Jehovah's first command of the Ten: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me!"

The mythical human theories of creation, anciently classified as the higher criticism, sprang from cultured scholars in Rome and in Greece, but they afforded no foundation for accurate views of creation by the divine Mind.
Mortal man has made a covenant with his eyes to belittle Deity with human conceptions. In league with material sense, mortals take limited views of all things. That God is corporeal or material, no man should affirm.

Scientific interpretation of the Scriptures properly starts with the beginning of the Old Testament, chiefly because the spiritual import of the Word, in its earliest articulations, often seems so smothered by the immediate context as to require explication; whereas the New Testament narratives are clearer and come nearer the heart. Jesus illumines them, showing the poverty of mortal existence, but richly recompensing human want and woe with spiritual gain. The incarnation of Truth, that amplification of wonder and glory which angels could only whisper and which God illustrated by light and harmony, is consonant with ever-present Love.

Christianity as Jesus taught it was not a creed, nor a system of ceremonies, nor a special gift from a ritualistic Jehovah; but it was the demonstration of divine Love casting out error and healing the sick, not merely in the name of Christ, or Truth, but in demonstration of Truth, as must be the case in the cycles of divine light.

It is believed by many that a certain magistrate, who lived in the time of Jesus, left this record: "His rebuke is fearful." The strong language of our Master confirms this description.
The only civil sentence which he had for error was, "Get thee behind me, Satan." Still stronger evidence that Jesus' reproof was pointed and pungent is found in his own words, — showing the necessity for such forcible utterance, when he cast out devils and healed the sick and sinning. The relinquishment of error deprives material sense of its false claims.

In Egypt, it was Mind which saved the Israelites from belief in the plagues. In the wilderness, streams flowed from the rock, and manna fell from the sky … In national prosperity, miracles attended the successes of the Hebrews; but when they departed from the true idea, their demoralization began.

The exterminator of error is the great truth that God, good, is the only Mind, and that the supposititious opposite of infinite Mind — called devil or evil — is not Mind, is not Truth, but error, without intelligence or reality. There can be but one Mind, because there is but one God; and if mortals claimed no other Mind and accepted no other, sin would be unknown.
किसी विचार, बीज या फूल की एकमात्र बुद्धि या तत्व ईश्वर है, जो उसे बनाने वाला है। मन ही सबकी आत्मा है। मन ही जीवन, सत्य और प्रेम है जो सब पर राज करता है।
The only intelligence or substance of a thought, a seed, or a flower is God, the creator of it. Mind is the Soul of all. Mind is Life, Truth, and Love which governs all.

The same power which heals sin heals also sickness … When Christ cast out the devil of dumbness, "it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake." There is to-day danger of repeating the offence of the Jews by limiting the Holy One of Israel and asking: "Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?" What cannot God do?

There is divine authority for believing in the superiority of spiritual power over material resistance.
A miracle fulfils God's law, but does not violate that law. This fact at present seems more mysterious than the miracle itself. The Psalmist sang: "What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? Thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob." The miracle introduces no disorder, but unfolds the primal order, establishing the Science of God's unchangeable law. Spiritual evolution alone is worthy of the exercise of divine power.

The divine Mind that made man maintains His own image and likeness. The human mind is opposed to God and must be put off, as St. Paul declares. All that really exists is the divine Mind and its idea, and in this Mind the entire being is found harmonious and eternal. The straight and narrow way is to see and acknowledge this fact, yield to this power, and follow the leadings of truth.
