“पवित्रता से शोभायमान होकर यहोवा को दण्डवत करो।”
“O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”
2 यहोवा के लिये गाओ, उसके नाम को धन्य कहो; दिन दिन उसके किए हुए उद्धार का शुभ समाचार सुनाते रहो।
3 अन्य जातियों में उसकी महिमा का, और देश देश के लोगों में उसके आश्चर्यकर्मों का वर्णन करो।
4 क्योंकि यहोवा महान और अति स्तुति के योग्य है; वह तो सब देवताओं से अधिक भय योग्य है।
6 उसके चारों और वैभव और ऐश्वर्य है; उसके पवित्र स्थान में सामर्थ्य और शोभा है।
8 यहोवा के नाम की ऐसी महिमा करो जो उसके योग्य है।
10 जाति जाति में कहो, यहोवा राजा हुआ है! और जगत ऐसा स्थिर है, कि वह टलने का नहीं; वह देश देश के लोगों का न्याय सीधाई से करेगा॥
9 हे यहोवा, हे हमारे प्रभु, तेरा नाम सारी पृथ्वी पर क्या ही प्रतापमय है॥
2. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
6. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
8. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name:
10. Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
9. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
पाठ उपदेश
10 मैं यहोवा के कारण अति आनन्दित होऊंगा, मेरा प्राण परमेश्वर के कारण मगन रहेगा; क्योंकि उसने मुझे उद्धार के वस्त्र पहिनाए, और धर्म की चद्दर ऐसे ओढ़ा दी है जैसे दूल्हा फूलों की माला से अपने आप को सजाता और दुल्हिन अपने गहनों से अपना सिंगार करती है।
11 क्योंकि जैसे भूमि अपनी उपज को उगाती, और बारी में जो कुछ बोया जाता है उसको वह उपजाती है, वैसे ही प्रभु यहोवा सब जातियों के साम्हने धामिर्कता और धन्यवाद को बढ़ाएगा॥
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
1 नबूकदनेस्सर राजा की ओर से देश-देश और जाति जाति के लोगों, और भिन्न-भिन्न भाषा बोलने वाले जितने सारी पृथ्वी पर रहते हैं, उन सभों को यह वचन मिला, तुम्हारा कुशल क्षेम बढ़े!
2 मुझे यह अच्छा लगा, कि परमप्रधान परमेश्वर ने मुझे जो जो चिन्ह और चमत्कार दिखाए हैं, उन को प्रगट करूं।
3 उसके दिखाए हुए चिन्ह क्या ही बड़े, और उसके चमत्कारों में क्या ही बड़ी शक्ति प्रगट होती है! उसका राज्य तो सदा का और उसकी प्रभुता पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक बनी रहती है॥
28 यह सब कुछ नबूकदनेस्सर राजा पर घट गया।
29 बारह महीने बीतने पर जब वह बाबुल के राजभवन की छत पर टहल रहा था, तब वह कहने लगा,
30 क्या यह बड़ा बाबुल नहीं है, जिसे मैं ही ने अपने बल और सामर्थ से राजनिवास होने को और अपने प्रताप की बड़ाई के लिये बसाया है?
31 यह वचन राजा के मुंह से निकलने भी न पाया था कि आकाशवाणी हुई, हे राजा नबूकदनेस्सर तेरे विषय में यह आज्ञा निकलती है कि राज्य तेरे हाथ से निकल गया,
33 उसी घड़ी यह वचन नबूकदनेस्सर के विषय में पूरा हुआ। वह मनुष्यों में से निकाला गया, और बैलों की नाईं घास चरने लगा, और उसकी देह आकाश की ओस से भीगती थी, यहां तक कि उसके बाल उकाब पक्षियों के परों से और उसके नाखून चिडिय़ोंके चंगुलों के समान बढ़ गए॥
34 उन दिनों के बीतने पर, मुझ नबूकदनेस्सर ने अपनी आंखें स्वर्ग की ओर उठाईं, और मेरी बुद्धि फिर ज्यों की त्यों हो गई; तब मैं ने परमप्रधान को धन्य कहा, और जो सदा जीवित है उसकी स्तुति और महिमा यह कह कर करने लगा: उसकी प्रभुता सदा की है और उसका राज्य पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तब बना रहने वाला है।
36 उसी समय, मेरी बुद्धि फिर ज्यों की त्यों हो गई; और मेरे राज्य की महिमा के लिये मेरा प्रताप और मुकुट मुझ पर फिर आ गया। और मेरे मन्त्री और प्रधान लोग मुझ से भेंट करने के लिये आने लगे, और मैं राज्य में स्थिर हो गया; और मेरी और अधिक प्रशंसा होने लगी।
37 अब मैं नबूकदनेस्सर स्वर्ग के राजा को सराहता हूं, और उसकी स्तुति और महिमा करता हूं क्योंकि उसके सब काम सच्चे॥
1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
2 I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.
29 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellers and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
23 यहोवा यों कहता है, बुद्धिमान अपनी बुद्धि पर घमण्ड न करे, न वीर अपनी वीरता पर, न धनी अपने धन पर घमण्ड करे;
24 परन्तु जो घमण्ड करे वह इसी बात पर घमण्ड करे, कि वह मुझे जानता और समझता हे, कि मैं ही वह यहोवा हूँ, जो पृथ्वी पर करुणा, न्याय और धर्म के काम करता है; क्योंकि मैं इन्हीं बातों से प्रसन्न रहता हूँ।
23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
3 इस पर यीशु ने व्यवस्थापकों और फरीसियों से कहा।
3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying,
4 तुम में से कौन है जिस की सौ भेड़ें हों, और उन में से एक खो जाए तो निन्नानवे को जंगल में छोड़कर, उस खोई हुई को जब तक मिल न जाए खोजता न रहे?
5 और जब मिल जाती है, तब वह बड़े आनन्द से उसे कांधे पर उठा लेता है।
6 और घर में आकर मित्रों और पड़ोसियों को इकट्ठे करके कहता है, मेरे साथ आनन्द करो, क्योंकि मेरी खोई हुई भेड़ मिल गई है।
10 मैं तुम से कहता हूं; कि इसी रीति से एक मन फिराने वाले पापी के विषय में परमेश्वर के स्वर्गदूतों के साम्हने आनन्द होता है॥
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
19 हे मेरे प्रिय भाइयो, यह बात तुम जानते हो: इसलिये हर एक मनुष्य सुनने के लिये तत्पर और बोलने में धीरा और क्रोध में धीमा हो।
20 क्योंकि मनुष्य का क्रोध परमेश्वर के धर्म का निर्वाह नहीं कर सकता है।
21 इसलिये सारी मलिनता और बैर भाव की बढ़ती को दूर करके, उस वचन को नम्रता से ग्रहण कर लो, जो हृदय में बोया गया और जो तुम्हारे प्राणों का उद्धार कर सकता है।
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
2 परमेश्वर के और हमारे प्रभु यीशु की पहचान के द्वारा अनुग्रह और शान्ति तुम में बहुतायत से बढ़ती जाए।
3 क्योंकि उसके ईश्वरीय सामर्थ ने सब कुछ जो जीवन और भक्ति से सम्बन्ध रखता है, हमें उसी की पहचान के द्वारा दिया है, जिस ने हमें अपनी ही महिमा और सद्गुण के अनुसार बुलाया है।
4 जिन के द्वारा उस ने हमें बहुमूल्य और बहुत ही बड़ी प्रतिज्ञाएं दी हैं: ताकि इन के द्वारा तुम उस सड़ाहट से छूट कर जो संसार में बुरी अभिलाषाओं से होती है, ईश्वरीय स्वभाव के समभागी हो जाओ।
5 और इसी कारण तुम सब प्रकार का यत्न करके, अपने विश्वास पर सद्गुण, और सद्गुण पर समझ।
6 और समझ पर संयम, और संयम पर धीरज, और धीरज पर भक्ति।
7 और भक्ति पर भाईचारे की प्रीति, और भाईचारे की प्रीति पर प्रेम बढ़ाते जाओ।
8 क्योंकि यदि ये बातें तुम में वर्तमान रहें, और बढ़ती जाएं, तो तुम्हें हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के पहचानने में निकम्मे और निष्फल न होने देंगी।
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
25 क्योंकि तुम पहिले भटकी हुई भेड़ों की नाईं थे, पर अब अपने प्राणों के रखवाले और अध्यक्ष के पास फिर आ गए हो।
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
मनुष्य आत्मा की अभिव्यक्ति है।
Man is the expression of Soul.
इसलिए विज्ञान आत्मा को ईश्वर के रूप में प्रकट करता है, पाप और मृत्यु से अछूता, — केंद्रीय जीवन और बुद्धिमत्ता के रूप में जिसके चारों ओर मन की प्रणालियों में सामंजस्यपूर्ण रूप से सभी चीजें हैं। आत्मा नहीं बदलती।
आत्मा में न तो वृद्धि, परिपक्वता है, न ही क्षय है। ये परिवर्तन भौतिक अर्थों के संशोधन हैं, नश्वर विश्वास के अलग-अलग बादल हैं, जो होने की सच्चाई को छिपाते हैं।
Science reveals Soul as God, untouched by sin and death, — as the central Life and intelligence around which circle harmoniously all things in the systems of Mind.
Soul changeth not.
There is neither growth, maturity, nor decay in Soul. These changes are the mutations of material sense, the varying clouds of mortal belief, which hide the truth of being.
मनुष्य अनंतता को दर्शाता है, और यह प्रतिबिंब भगवान का सही विचार है।

Man reflects infinity, and this reflection is the true idea of God.
God expresses in man the infinite idea forever developing itself, broadening and rising higher and higher from a boundless basis.
The infinite Principle is reflected by the infinite idea and spiritual individuality, but the material so-called senses have no cognizance of either Principle or its idea. The human capacities are enlarged and perfected in proportion as humanity gains the true conception of man and God.
क्या हमें एक भौतिक ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए कि वह अपनी व्यक्तिगत इच्छा से बीमारों को ठीक कर दे, या हमें उस अनंत दिव्य सिद्धांत को समझना चाहिए जो ठीक करता है? यदि हम अंधविश्वास से ऊपर नहीं उठते, तो चिकित्सा विज्ञान प्राप्त नहीं होता, तथा इन्द्रिय-अस्तित्व के स्थान पर आत्मा-अस्तित्व को नहीं समझा जा सकता। हम जीवन को दैवीय विज्ञान में तभी ग्रहण करते हैं जब हम भौतिक बोध से ऊपर रहते हैं और उसे ठीक करते हैं। अच्छाई या बुराई के दावों की हमारी आनुपातिक स्वीकृति हमारे अस्तित्व के सामंजस्य को निर्धारित करती है, - हमारा स्वास्थ्य, हमारी लंबी उम्र और हमारी ईसाई धर्म।
Should we implore a corporeal God to heal the sick out of His personal volition, or should we understand the infinite divine Principle which heals? If we rise no higher than blind faith, the Science of healing is not attained, and Soul-existence, in the place of sense-existence, is not comprehended. We apprehend Life in divine Science only as we live above corporeal sense and correct it. Our proportionate admission of the claims of good or of evil determines the harmony of our existence, — our health, our longevity, and our Christianity.

क्रिश्चियन साइंस का प्रभाव उतना नहीं देखा जाता जितना महसूस किया जाता है। यह स्वयं को बोलने वाले सत्य की "स्थिर, हल्की आवाज" है। हम या तो इस उच्चारण से मुंह मोड़ रहे हैं, या हम इसे सुन रहे हैं और ऊपर जा रहे हैं।
When the sick or the sinning awake to realize their need of what they have not, they will be receptive of divine Science, which gravitates towards Soul and away from material sense, removes thought from the body, and elevates even mortal mind to the contemplation of something better than disease or sin. The true idea of God gives the true understanding of Life and Love, robs the grave of victory, takes away all sin and the delusion that there are other minds, and destroys mortality.
The effects of Christian Science are not so much seen as felt. It is the "still, small voice" of Truth uttering itself. We are either turning away from this utterance, or we are listening to it and going up higher.
आत्मा के पास आत्मा को प्राप्त करने के लिए अनंत संसाधन हैं, और खुशी अधिक आसानी से प्राप्त की जाएगी और हमारे रखने में अधिक सुरक्षित होगी, अगर आत्मा में मांग की जाए। अकेले उच्च आनंद अमर आदमी के लालसा को संतुष्ट कर सकते हैं। हम व्यक्तिगत समझदारी की सीमा के भीतर खुशी का संचार नहीं कर सकते। इंद्रियां वास्तविक आनंद नहीं देती हैं।

Soul has infinite resources with which to bless mankind, and happiness would be more readily attained and would be more secure in our keeping, if sought in Soul. Higher enjoyments alone can satisfy the cravings of immortal man. We cannot circumscribe happiness within the limits of personal sense. The senses confer no real enjoyment.
The good in human affections must have ascendency over the evil and the spiritual over the animal, or happiness will never be won. The attainment of this celestial condition would improve our progeny, diminish crime, and give higher aims to ambition. Every valley of sin must be exalted, and every mountain of selfishness be brought low, that the highway of our God may be prepared in Science.

Soul is immortal because it is Spirit, which has no element of self-destruction. Is man lost spiritually? No, he can only lose a sense material. All sin is of the flesh. It cannot be spiritual. Sin exists here or hereafter only so long as the illusion of mind in matter remains. It is a sense of sin, and not a sinful soul, which is lost. Evil is destroyed by the sense of good.
When humanity does understand this Science, it will become the law of Life to man, — even the higher law of Soul, which prevails over material sense through harmony and immortality.
आत्मा और पदार्थ अपने विपरीत स्वभाव के कारण ही भिन्न हैं। नश्वरता अस्तित्व की वास्तविकता से परिचित नहीं हैं, क्योंकि सामग्री और मृत्यु दर आत्मा के तथ्यों को प्रतिबिंबित नहीं करते हैं।

Soul and matter are at variance from the very necessity of their opposite natures. Mortals are unacquainted with the reality of existence, because matter and mortality do not reflect the facts of Spirit.
With its divine proof, Science reverses the evidence of material sense. Every quality and condition of mortality is lost, swallowed up in immortality. Mortal man is the antipode of immortal man in origin, in existence, and in his relation to God.

The universe, like man, is to be interpreted by Science from its divine Principle, God, and then it can be understood; but when explained on the basis of physical sense and represented as subject to growth, maturity, and decay, the universe, like man, is, and must continue to be, an enigma.

What is now considered the best condition for organic and functional health in the human body may no longer be found indispensable to health. Moral conditions will be found always harmonious and health-giving. Neither organic inaction nor overaction is beyond God's control; and man will be found normal and natural to changed mortal thought, and therefore more harmonious in his manifestations than he was in the prior states which human belief created and sanctioned.
As human thought changes from one stage to another of conscious pain and painlessness, sorrow and joy, — from fear to hope and from faith to understanding, — the visible manifestation will at last be man governed by Soul, not by material sense. Reflecting God's government, man is self-governed. When subordinate to the divine Spirit, man cannot be controlled by sin or death, thus proving our material theories about laws of health to be valueless.
